This Nutrient Management Plan is intended to be used alongside the Defra Fertiliser Manual (RB) and the series of Guidance for Farmers in Nitrate. It is the culmination of a £98, project, supported by £,worth of in-kind funding by industry, to review the former Fertiliser Manual (RB). With this in mind, DEFRA put together a fertiliser manual for use by farmers to keep within regulations set out in the Nitrates Action Programme and CoGAP.
